Ever wonder what is the magic secret that will allow you to be successful?
When we were little, we used to ask all sorts of big questions… all the time. Why is the sky blue? Where do babies come from? Why do I have to go to school? Are there aliens?
Admittedly, as a parent this can occasionally become frustrating and tiresome having to try to explain answers to the vast, complicated questions. However, if we take a step back and examine things a bit further, we can gain a bit more perspective.
Children learn so much just by asking questions. So why is it that when we get older, many of us stop?
Is this the missing key that will allow us to be successful?
Perhaps some people feel they already know it all. Others, maybe, are embarrassed to ask questions, feeling they could face ridicule. Another group just might be downright apathetic.
Asking questions should be something we all strive to do if we want to be successful.
The quest for knowledge should be ongoing throughout our lives. Much research has been done on the correlation between habits of very successful people versus the habits of less successful people.
The findings of the research about success illustrate that reading, especially, correlates to success. While reading for some people is purely an escape, for others, it is used to seek knowledge.
In reality, seeking knowledge, for some of the most accomplished people, is really seeking an answer to some of their biggest questions. How can I improve my business? What is the climate of the market in my industry and how can I use it to my advantage? What are other successful people doing? How would it look to do it better than anyone else?
Ask bigger questions. By simply doing so, you can begin to unlock the possibility of finding the answer or the destination that you truly seek.
