Balanced Living & Productivity Expert Susan Sly Examines the Effect of Intention On Focus

Best-selling author, time management expert, and work life balance specialist, speaker, and performance coach Susan Sly releases new article examining “intention” on focus and achievement.

Scottsdale, AZ. — June 22, 2017— Best-selling author, speaker, and entrepreneur Susan Sly recently published a new article, “The Power of Intention on Focus & Achievement.”

This new article is a follow-up to another article Susan Sly recently released on the benefits of mindfulness. In that other piece, Susan discussed the benefits of mindfulness and how it was closely related to the power of intention. Here, she delves further into intention itself, and its effect on focus and achievement.

As Susan explains, “The power of intention – besides being one of the key elements in the Law of Attraction – can also be a huge key to obtaining high levels of focus and achievement.”

Susan references a few big names to illustrate this contention, including Dr. Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. She quotes Amazon regarding Dr. Dyer’s best-selling self-help book on the power of intention that she says she highly recommends, “He transforms conventional thinking about making things happen in our lives into a profound understanding of how each person possesses the infinite potential and power to co-create the life he or she desires.”

She also references Chopra’s article: 5 Steps to Harness the Power of Intention. Specifically, the idea that everything begins with intention. As she elaborates, “Think about it… if you want to go into business for yourself – to become an entrepreneur – no matter what your offering will be, or how you will offer it, it starts with an intention. NOTHING can happen without some sort of intention—even if it’s an intention to avoid – or not do – something.”

Susan also supports Chopra’s idea of intention being like a seed you plant in your (mental) garden and then nurture and purposefully grow, so that it flourishes.

Thus, she rounds out the article by providing four simple ways anyone can easily do this such as practicing mindfulness via meditation and yoga and releasing your intentions in faith—expecting the results to come into being.
