A Family That Organizes Together…
OYL Champions – Brian and Natacha’s Journey
First off, we cannot thank Susan and her awesome Step Into Your Power team enough for all that has developed in our lives from taking the Organize Your Life courses. Natacha and I would not be where we are today without the instruction, guidance, and support of OYL.
Before I took OYL for Home-Based Business Owners in the Fall of 2015, our life was in shambles. Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed a good income and had a lot to be grateful for. Still we lived paycheck to paycheck because our finances were iffy on the budgeting side and honestly, we spent more than we earned every few months. 
I had an unpredictable schedule from work that I let govern my life, and Natacha’s schedule changed weekly adding to the stress. With our growing 2 year old son, we settled into a dull routine and the spark slowly left our marriage and family. It is sad to say, but we were a shell of a family merely going through the motions.
After completing my second OYL course, The Fundamentals, together as a couple in January 2016, we have taken back our lives forever! To start, we began scheduling our weeks together which led to us talking more openly. And by openly I mean discussing what makes each of us happy as individuals and as a family. We set aside dedicated blocks of time for those activities we truly enjoyed. No more hectic chaos!
Our finances improved dramatically, especially in the savings department. We set a budget, live within our means, and are paying down our credit card while saving for the big expenses like a trip to France and our second son due in August. 
Its been great knowing that a plan is in place and soon we will be free of debt!
Our marriage has regained the spark that we lost and now we move forward together as one. We realized that things we kept putting off were causing unspoken tension between us. One such area was our bedroom, so we gave it a make over!
Also, Natacha has started two businesses, both home based, which will allow her to eventually leave waitressing for good. Seeing this passion in her makes me happier than I ever thought I could be. I started pursuing a side career and went back to school on the weekends. We are talking more, supporting each other, and looking for solutions instead of problems.
Again, thank you Susan, Bre, Tisha, Joel, and the entire OYL group for all that you have taught us. You all will forever be a part of our lives!
