Best-selling author, time management expert, work life balance specialist and professional speaker Susan Sly shares how to guard your productivity in this new year so you can keep achieving more in 2017.

Scottsdale, AZ — February 2, 2017 — Best-selling author, work life balance speaker and expert, and entrepreneur Susan Sly recently published a new article titled, “Guard Your Productivity – Strategies for Staying Organized, Achieving More, and Keeping Your Identity Intact in the New Year.”

Susan begins off by revealing that recent studies have recently demonstrated despite the fact people are working greater hours at both home and work, productivity is declining. They are not achieving more.

She elaborates:

“Some experts say one potential cause is the increased utilization of technology shortening attention spans. Others say it’s due to a self-perpetuating cycle where overwork begets burnout. Consequently, productivity declines. This in turn, makes us work even more to try and get the things done that we need to do. And so on…”

On the other hand, she says, we don’t have to play this game. She says, “We don’t have to participate. We can choose to make this year different and more productive than ever before…”

Susan then gives six specific strategies to help us with achieving more this year. These include tactics such as minimizing time wasters, eliminating distractions, staying prepared and planning our time properly, managing meetings, and being proactive instead of reactive with our schedule. She concludes with some additional, super-important information on guarding our identity and information. After all, in the case of a stolen identity, much time and energy is exerted on resolving the subsequent issues. This is valuable time much better served elsewhere.
