Best-selling author, time management expert, and work life balance specialist Susan Sly shares specific strategies for increasing personal credibility and how doing so allows you to be more confident and be an inspiration to others.

Scottsdale, AZ. — May 4, 2016 — Best-selling author, speaker, and entrepreneur Susan Sly recently published a new article, “The ‘It’ That Changes Everything… How to Gain Confidence In Yourself and Inspire Others by Developing Your Credibility.” In the she shares that learning how to gain confidence – how to be more confident and inspire others – starts with understanding and building your personal credibility.  

Susan starts by asking, “Would you be here at this website – listening to the things I say and reading the things I write – if you didn’t believe I “walked the talk”? That I myself live in balance – experiencing balanced living and work life balance – in my own life? That I am successful both personally and professionally?”

She goes on to explain that your potential customers and/or clients must find you credible in order to be inspired to business – or interact – with you in any manner. Additionally, your personally credibility helps you to gain confidence and be more confident.

Following that point, she gives a good working definition of credibility and then details why it matters and how to establish your own credibility. Specific points she covers are establishing authority, guarding authority, being confident in your knowledge, the importance of staying educated and then consistently evaluating and re-assessing your current credibility in your field of expertise.
