OYL Champion: Nichole Rich PHD
Before taking the Organize Your Life course, I found myself in a place of feeling stuck. I had just made a major career decision to leave the safety of a job that I knew for 15 years to jump two feet into a home based business.
I thought it would be easy because self-discipline and perseverance have always fueled my goals. All of the achievements in my life have been easy because I knew what had to be done, and I just did it. When you decide to be your own boss, the only person telling you what to do is YOU, and I found myself some days saying, “If only someone would just tell me what needs to be done, I’d be able to do it”. What I hadn’t anticipated was the extent that fear makes you hold onto things that don’t serve you.
I am in my second OYL course, and I know that I will sign up for every one that comes along. Throughout these courses, I learned how my fear of the unknown kept me hanging on to behaviors, material items, relationships and patterns that were preventing me from getting to the next level.
I embraced the weekly tasks and made them my mission. The clearing process began for me the very first night when I began to put things into place. I felt changes within the first few days as more abundance began to flow in my business.
Now I find that I feel immediate shifts when we are on the calls! The amazing connection is that it wasn’t about specific business tasks. It was because I was clearing my space and getting organized!
On a personal level, it has created a monumental shift. I realized that I had allowed things into my life that didn’t serve me and actually prevented me from moving farther in the direction of my dreams. I firmly believe that OYL is exactly what I needed to help me get my rhythm, my flow, and my momentum. Any time I talk with someone that is frustrated with their life or feeling in a slump, I always tell them, “You need to take this class because it’s changed my life”.
