Jennifer’s Journey

My goodness, when I think of how far I have come during this OYL for home based businesses class, I am in awe.

I have done an OYL course before, but let’s just say I wasn’t ‘all in’ on several levels.  I did not devote the time to the course or myself.  It just was not the time for me, as I was not ready to accept.

Susan and I both come from the same small town and have known each other for probably 30 years.  I also have known her husband for a long time.  We re-connected about 9 years ago. It was so nice to hear about what she had been up to and how successful she has become.  The best part of all that is Susan is still Susan.  Even though she has traveled the world, spoke in front of thousands of people, and been blessed with an incredible Family, she is still so REAL!  Whether one on one or in a crowd of 10,000 people, it is like she is speaking directly to YOU and to your heart.  She truly does have a heart of service, and she walks the walk.  I am so grateful that we re-connected because Susan has had a profound impact on my life over the past 9 years.

Prior to this course OYL for Home Based Business in fall 2015, I was and continue to be a very successful RMT, wife and Mom.  I work full-time while pursuing my passion of a home based health and wellness company.  I am constantly juggling work, life, home balance.  I am productive but never made time for the things that I liked the least, and procrastinated any sort of sorting, purging, or organizing.  Let’s face it – I would rather be at a park with the kids!  Slowly, the weight of all my stuff and unfinished business (finances included) had taken a toll.

During this course I have:

-re organized my home office (a work in progress)

-my husband and I have both done our wills

-I had a fen shui specialist come in to help me with our home and my home office

-I had a professional help me with my Business FB page (because if I didn’t call a professional it still would not be done!)

– I have brought in another professional help me with my Linkedin account (again if I hadn’t called a professional it still would not be done)

-my husband and I met with our financial advisor to revise some necessary items

-I am interviewing new accountants in anticipation my current accountant’s impending retirement

– I have more clarity with my plans for my day time job and where/how I want to specialize further while still pursuing our health and wellness business

-I have a very colorful agenda now

– I have PURGED a TON!

-And I am just getting started!!!!!!!!!!!!
